Program Overview
The Old Dominion Electric Cooperative Battery Program is a battery program that rewards end users in ODEC territory for sending power to the grid during peak demand times, lowering overall electricity costs in the region and helping ensure a reliable power supply.
How It Works
After enrolling, your battery will help the grid by sharing energy during a handful of peak moments each year. Events typically last three hours with a maximum of 30 events per season.

Regional eligibility available in DE, VA, MD
Incentives
EG4 Energy Storage systems earn an upfront incentive of $1,000 plus an annual incentive based on performance during grid events, up to $1,000. Most customers witih an EG4 system will earn between $700-$1,000 per year

Participation is always up to you. If you ever want to skip an event, you can opt out using the EG4 app. Just know that skipping may affect your yearly rewards.
