James Showalter
Founder
James Showalter founded EG4 by focusing on delivering quality products while reducing the overall cost of solar energy systems. He drives EG4 to maintain customer-centric innovation and provide sustainable, reliable, and affordable solar solutions for widespread energy independence.
Tom Sparkman
Chief Strategic Officer
With 35 years in the semiconductor industry and two years in Solar Energy, Tom has held various roles in sales, marketing, and senior management, including CEO of EG4 and two venture-backed, Silicon Valley-based companies. Tom holds an electrical engineering degree from UC Berkeley and has extensive international experience in Asia and Europe, living six years as an expat in Germany. Outside of work, Tom enjoys wine collecting, biking, and hiking. Tom is married and the proud parent of two children.

General Manager
Troy Asberry Jr. joins EG4 Electronics as General Manager, bringing 30+ years of global experience in operations, sales, and strategic development. He has led high-performing teams across multiple industries. A retired Army Reserve Officer, Troy will drive EG4’s growth and innovation.

Eric Conley

Eric Conley brings over 15 years of expertise in accounting and finance, in addition to a MBA, to the company. As a certified public accountant (CPA), he plays a key role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
