Eversource New Hampshire Home Battery Program
Program Overview
The Eversource New Hampshire Home Battery program gives eligible homeowners an opportunity to reduce the upfront cost of adding battery storage to their homes, with additional earnings for annual participation through the ConnectedSolutions program.
Qualifying battery systems can receive an upfront incentive based on eligible battery capacity, helping make reliable home backup power more attainable. After enrolling, systems are eligible for a seasonal incentive

How It Works
Eligible homeowners install a qualifying battery storage system and complete the required Eversource interconnection process.
Once the battery receives Permission to Operate and is accepted into the program, qualifying customers may receive an upfront incentive for enrolling their batteries in Demand Response as well as an annual incentive based on performance during grid events.
Participation allows enrolled battery systems to support the electric grid during periods of high energy demand while maintaining access to stored energy for backup needs.
Eligibility
Participation is subject to Eversource program requirements.
- Customer: You must meet Eversource New Hampshire program eligibility requirements.
- Equipment: Your battery system must use equipment approved for the program.
- Interconnection: Your system must meet applicable Eversource interconnection requirements and receive Permission to Operate.
- EG4 Systems: Eligible EG4 system configurations will be announced when EG4 participation launches.
Incentives
Eligible residential battery systems can receive $230 per eligible kWh of battery capacity, up to a maximum incentive of $3,000.
The incentive is issued after Eversource confirms that the qualifying battery has received Permission to Operate and has been accepted into the program.
During grid events through the connected solutions program, eligible battery systems can also receive $225 per average kW across all seasonal events.
Actual incentive amounts are subject to system eligibility, battery capacity, program requirements, available funding, and final approval.
How to Enroll
Homeowners using EG4 storage systems can begin the process directly through the EG4 Grid Services portal once EG4 participation becomes available.

- Click the Sign Up button below.
- Follow the prompts to sync your system and submit your utility account details.
