Program Overview
The EG4 Grid Services North East Virtual Power Plant Program is now available for homeowners and partners in DC, IL, PA, MD, NJ, OH, VA, and WV. This innovative initiative helps keep your community powered by allowing your battery system to share energy during a few important times each year, usually just once or twice a season, in summer and winter. There’s no complicated limit or requirements to worry about; you just join and your battery does the rest automatically.
How It Works
After enrolling, your battery will help the grid by sharing energy during a handful of peak moments each year. For most participants, this means only one or two simple events in both summer and winter. Everything is managed for you, so there’s no need to track or plan, your battery takes care of it, and you help your community without any hassle.

Incentives
Most batteries can earn up to $200 per year by joining the program. Your rewards grow as your battery helps in these easy events. It’s a simple way to get more from your battery and support local power reliability.
