Demand Side Grid Support (DSGS)
How It Works
Enrolled batteries discharge to the grid during up to 35 events (May 1–Oct 31, 4–9 PM). Customers set discharge limits and can opt out of events.
Participating Utilities
City of Anaheim, City of Azusa, City of Banning, City of Pasadena, City of Riverside, City of Vernon, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E), Southern California Edison.
Eligibility
EG4 customers with kPV or FlexBOSS inverters, WallMount or LifePower4 48V V2 batteries.
Enrollment
Via EG4 monitoring portal, 4 business days before the first participation month.
