As Thanksgiving approaches, we at EG4 Electronics are grateful for the progress we’ve made, the support from our customers, and the strong community that’s helped us grow. Our journey began with a simple but impactful goal: to make solar technology accessible and affordable for everyone. This vision drives everything we do—from product design to our community outreach.
Building EG4 into a Quality Solar Provider
Starting from humble beginnings in East Texas, EG4 has grown by finding new and better ways to bring quality solar solutions to more homeowners. Initially, we sourced and sold overstocked inverters and panels at significant savings. But we quickly realized that by establishing strong relationships with top-tier suppliers and focusing on product innovation, we could build something much bigger which would accelerate achieving our mission. This led us to develop our own line of reliable solar components, including efficient server rack batteries, and create training programs to build a skilled workforce in our hometown of Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Commitment to Community and Global Impact
Our success is rooted in giving back. Locally, we prioritize hiring and training our Sulphur Springs and East Texas neighbors and creating paths for employees to grow within our company and the solar industry.
We support our community through events like sponsoring an art class at Sulphur Springs Senior Center, joining the Hopkins County Stew Contest, and donating to Wreaths Across America, Hopkins County United Way, and the In My Closet Golf Tournament. We also organized a canned food drive for the Hopkins County Community Chest and will soon sponsor the Commerce ISD Robotics team.
Globally, we’re proud to support off-grid projects that provide clean water, power, and other essential resources to underserved communities. At EG4, we believe that solar energy can change lives—not only through energy independence but also through the positive impact we can make on our communities.
