The GridBOSS is EG4’s answer to the need for seamless, high-power management. Rated for a 200A service entrance with 200A pass-through for both backed-up and non-backed-up loads, GridBOSS is designed to handle significant power requirements, making it suitable for a range of energy-intensive applications. One of its defining features is the inclusion of four intelligent, programmable ports—rated at 125A, 80A, 60A, and 60A—that support both AC coupling and smart load management. This enables users to easily optimize energy use and distribution, load shedding, and power savings.
GridBOSS is also built with generator compatibility, supporting units up to 125A, adding a reliable backup power source. Designed to work seamlessly with EG4’s FlexBOSS21, 12kPV, and 18kPV-v2 inverters, it allows scalable energy configurations with up to three 90A hybrid inverters.
The GridBOSS streamlines energy management by replacing multiple components—such as load centers, transfer switches, and power management devices—with a single, efficient solution. With built-in generator compatibility and seamless integration with EG4 inverters, the GridBOSS reduces both setup complexity and costs, offering a powerful, all-in-one energy management system.
Unleashing the Power of the FlexBOSS21 Hybrid Inverter
Launching alongside the GridBOSS, the FlexBOSS21 hybrid inverter brings power, flexibility, and scalability to EG4’s product suite. It leads the market with 21kW usable PV power and a 24kW max PV input, making it ideal for systems demanding high energy output and robust backup power. The FlexBOSS21 provides a 16kW AC output to the grid with PV and 12kW AC output from battery, making it an outstanding choice for high-demand settings that require continuous, reliable power.
Equipped with three MPPTs (26A/26A/15A) supporting up to five panel strings, FlexBOSS21 is designed to maximize PV capture and optimize performance in various configurations. It operates seamlessly in sell-back and off-grid setups, serving both residential and light commercial needs. Despite its powerful capabilities, the FlexBOSS21 maintains a compact footprint, allowing it to fit easily into diverse installation environments
